This is Mark Waldick and he is a local musician and music producer who works under the name Oblique.
He attended and graduated from the University of Saint Francis in 2018 from their Music Technology program. During his senior year, he began writing electronic music under the name Oblique, releasing his senior project and first album “Last Call”.
He went on to work with local pop singer Haley Sorg, as well as hip hop artist Extraordinary, doing production work and engineering. He’s worked with other local acts such as Cheno Royal, Zach Ochsner, and Calder the Band.
His personal music ranges from synthpop, to more experimental electronic music, to hip hop.
