Greta Van Fleet is an American rock band formed in 2012. The four band members were signed to Lava Records in March of 2017 and in April, the band released their debut studio EP “Black Smoke Rising”.
Their debut “Highway Tune” topped the Billboard US Mainstream Rock and Active Rock stations in September of 2017. (You can see their single below.)
The band’s heavy rock song is strongly influenced by the work of Led Zeppelin, with lead vocalist Josh Kiszka having a voice that has been compared to Robert Plant’s “husky growl”.
